HUnlee has started the testing the MONSTER frum MATHEW aganinst KATERA foum HOYT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!From shooting him in da basement the MONSTER is ahead now with better letoff,,,,,,,,,better feelin holdin wall,,,,,,,,,,loonger valley and of corce WARP SPEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hunlee only have the MONSTER at the indoor shootin range today so direct compairison between the 2 couldunt happin today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hunlee is starting to get this feeling tho,,,,,,,,,,,,,MATHEW is going to have a nother FAN BOY on there hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

You should shoot the Maxxis first. Then Mathews will be in second place again. Plus you will have a 7" brace height. SRM

Hunlee, I shot the Monster too and really like how it shoots. Not big on how heavy they are though. Def a good shooting rig IMO.

Agree that an Alphaburner would be a more suitable comparison. Be objective in your choice Hunlee, and you will achieve the status of warp speed that has eluded you all these years :D

Wow Hunlee finally woke up and got himself a REAL bow. As soon as you get outside to shoot the monster at distances you'll throw that pos hoyt in that river you're always talking about. MONSTER= Real WarpSPEED!!!!!!

Dang it Hunlee, about the time you talk me into a Hoyt you go and get a Mathews. Oh that's right, I already got 2 Mathews:) Prestige and LX. Might just try a Monster for my hunting bow. Buddy of mine let me shoot his, WARP SPEED , 500 grain hunting arrow, 25 in draw, Thats right 25 inches, 260 fps. Way more KE than I have ever had. But I'll keep the pretty little blue fuzion Ultratec for 3D:smile:

i think both the katera and monster are great bows. if i had the cash i would own both. and a alienz, alien nemesis, pse axe 6, strother sr 71, pse ss uf, hoyt contender elite, athens exceed and accomplish, BT destoryer 350 list goes on and on haha. i would own a bunch:D

idk which one i like better between the katera and monster. i really like both but if i had to pick i would get the monster for the extra speed at my little dl. plus it felt good when i shot it
