Guys I would like some input on a new arrow rest and what weight tips I need for my indoor bow this year.

Here is my bow and arrows:

2004 Martin Razor X (Nitrous B Cams)
48 lbs and 26" DL

28.5" (From nock groove to end of insert) XX78 2512's with 3" feathers.

Two main questions:

1) What rest do you reccomend for those arrows? Currently the bow has a WB on it (shafts WAY too fat). I dont want to spend a fortune, but want a good rest for target shooting. Maybe in the $50-75 dollar range.

2) What weight tips do I need to get to get those arrows spined right for my setup? I am thinking something pretty heavy.

Thanks.

Get ready because this could be a new world record 8 pt! The taxidermists has measured him at 192"gross and net 189" green score.

He was shot east of Cannon Falls this past weekend. Supposedly the nearby land owners have had sheds and trail camera's of this mammoth, but have been pretty tight lipped about it.

His last couple of years sheds showed pretty much the same frame without the extreme mass he has this year. Don't know how much he weighed or how old he was, but truly an old buck. It goes to show that even leaving the 8 pointers go and grow up can really make them something special some day."

Well the last day of bow in mass is tomorrow. Get ready for the woods to turn into pumpkin patches. Though I have not been out nearly as much as I used to due to two youngins, remodling the downstairs, weather and the wife working again I have once again enjoyed the season even though it has been a tough year. In six weeks I have seen 5 deer. four doe and 1 buck. The only one to give me a shot was the buck and I wouded him and lost him. The trail he came in on was down ridge from the stand and I held to high. I should have aimed for the bottom of his chest....but in the heat of the moment I screwed up. We tracked him for 4 hours that night and spent a total of 8 hours searching over three days. With any luck I will be sitting tomorrow afternoon. it's tough when gun rolls around since everyone thinks you need to run around the woods like maniacs to try and get a deer. I have looked down the barrell of a shotgun twice during past gun season so I go duck hunting instead:D:D
