Well here is my first review where I actually saw the deer react to the scent. Neither of them came from downwind so I can't really claim that they smelled it and came in.

I had mixed results...I think.

The first deer came in and when he did he went to the scent and buried his face in it. He didn't keep following the scent trail that would have brought him broadside 15 yards in front of me. Instead he kept heading down the same trail he was on and I ended up hitting my bow on my leg and he heard me and moved off.

The second buck came and from the opposite side and also buried his face in the scent. I'm not sure if he would have followed the trail because I shot him before he had the chance.

Without a doubt they were interested in at least investigating and certainly stayed put long enough for a shot.....so far so good.

I expect to purchase more shortly to make sure I get some more before it gets too popular and it's hanging in cabelas haha. you'd love that but my experience is that once stuff floods the market it goes down in quality.

What is the shelf life of your scent do you think? If I purchase a bunch right now and store it in the basement willit still be good for next season?

Thanks

Well Thank You,

I appreciate your honesty and that was a wonderful first time user review! I always love it when a story comes together as this one did! I'm not going to tell you that Yes it was the Trophy Blend because I wasn't there, however baised on your story on how both of the bucks burried their face in the Trophy Blend and you managed to harvest one of them! Well what can I say other that " Success Story"

I'm glad to hear that you want to buy more before it hits Cabela's!! Well I haven't heard a word out of them so I can't see a whole lot of danger their?? And as far as the quality is concered, well I run my business on these words.

Just received my scents today. Leaving early monday morning for Missouri. I will be putting Trophy blend scents to the test everyday.

I was thinking of hot gluing a string over the top so I can hang the canister on a branch.
