    Alien Z, Alien Nemesis

Martin Alien Z vs Alien Nemesis,

What are your thoughts compairing these two bows? I dont care for a short ATA so the X isnt on the list. I like the look of the Z but raves about the Nemesis keep pouring in... The way it handles is more important. Anyone had a chance to shoot and compair??????

I wish some would post their opinion on the "z".
I think I would find a Dealer that has both and shoot
them. The grip on the Nemisis is very different. Your hand
really sits in the riser nicely. But still different. JMO - TX

I have not shot any of them. If the nemesis shoots half as good as it looks it will be a killer bow.

I love the handle on the Nemesis, it is very nice. I also am not the biggest fan of really short bows so the 34" on the Nemesis was really right up my ally....I think this is going to be a tough choice for you!! '94

    shot both

    Both shoot the same.

the only big difference is the grip

it really depends on how the grip feels in your hand

UG! I cant wait get to see a friend's nemesis in a few weeks. I guess thats the way I'm leaning. altho I like the more classic bow shape of the Z, I keep returning to the idea of the Nem. I think Ive made up my mind, but it looks like im trying to see if I can talk my self out of it and into the other one to be sure Im sure. LOL, so Im pretty sure I'll give the Nemesis a shot this year.

Invite to the Mafia sent, you can ask the 273 members which one they like.

I Spent a lot of time shooting the Z while at the ATA show and I'm currently waiting for my red Z to land. I also have a Nemesis and I will say the Nemesis is deader in the hand at the shot, but the addition of any stabilizer to the Z and it will be just as dead at the shot. the main differences are the grips and the string angles at full draw. I suggest shooting both to really get a feel for the one that makes you

I have to disagree, the alien X is a little faster however its a little louder than the Nemesis , Nemesis is dead in your hand upon release whisper quiet, no shock or buzz in the riser, the Z had a little buzz in the riser but a set of limbsavers would send that goodbye. I own the X and have a Nemesis on the way . I wont be getting rid of either of them anytime soon . Oh and most of all both are dead accurate!!!!!!!!

Miss Mary, you're in luck! My buddy got his Nemesis week or two ago and we have been shooting it and playing around with it non-stop. Killer bow, shoots sweet, quiet, dead in hand, holds great. Our friend has to have long ata bows so he's been waiting for the Z to come out....yesterday he found one and bought it so we all hooked up to set it up today. Its also a sweet shooting bow, quiet, and dead in hand. Holds great, nice and steady. He likes it, but we all like the grip of the Nemesis better. Just sits in your hand. Nothing wrong with Z grip, just not the same. I think the Nemesis holds just as well as Z, and shoots just as sweet. I like the bridged riser and the look it gives the Nem also. Either one is awesome bow and easy to tune and set up, but I think I'm leaning toward Nemesis.

Nemesis we shot at shop was backed off to @ 65,66 lbs, then we put it back up to 70 when got home. Draws smooth, holds and shoots great. Z we shot was at 64 lbs. Thats where other buddy wants it, little easier to draw and hold for him. It draws nice too, good wall, and shoots great. Nemesis shooting 70 lbs, 417 gr,28.5" draw 285 fps. still have to chrono Z.
