Do You have a site where I can get info on these sights? Is 3.8 inches of travel the most that your sight has? I shoot left handed and would love it in blue. Though I'd also be happy buying a good used one . Is the right hand sight able to be disassembled and flipped for left hand use even though the writing and such would be upside down?

the travel on this sight is 3.3" not 3.8"
i do have a sight with 4.8" travel in silver left hand if you need a 3rd axes
if you don't i also have a black one left hand

right hand sights are not convertible to left hand

Here are some pictures and a short description of the release
the price is 92.95$ US plus shipping

All components are high precision CNC machined
All pins and the eye bolt with lock nut are stainless steel
The two finger trigger is up front, close to the claws to increase draw length
It also spins around the main body of the release so you can find the perfect finger position every time
The claws are small enough to be perfectly suitable for shooting of a loop (.27 wide on tip or 6.8mm)
    Overall lengths is 3.”
Weight is 1 ¼ ounces or 36 grams
Micro adjustment for the distance the two finger trigger has to travel before it releases is behind the trigger and is infinitive from 0 -.035 “or 0 – 1.mm
This release needs to be attached to a wristband which is not included in this deal but
Should be available in any archery store
The reason I do not include a wristband, to me it is a very personal choice
Every archer has is own taste in it
So instead of including a wristband I rather let you find you own perfect tool
If you have anymore questions please E-mail

Detlef may not be as popular a name as Sureloc, CJ, Tox etc... when it comes to target sights but the quality is every bit as good and even better than most.

Ever notice the small amount of play that develops in the vertical travel bar on a Sureloc due to bending in the center rod? Ever notice how gummy the adjustment knob feels on a CJ after some use? Ever notice how ridiculously heavy a Tox pro sight is? And how annoying it is to have to use a lockdown knob to tighten up the vertical adjust?

I'm one of "those" archers that get addicted to the classifieds and awhile back, I got into a target sight craze. No matter what sight I ended up with, there was something I could knit pick on it. All with the exception of my Shibuya Ultima. So for the longest time, there was no other sight bar that could compete against the Ultima for me in terms of build quality, tolerance, easy of use, etc... Until I picked up a DS sight at the recommendation of a friend.

I still love my Ultima but I have definitely found it's equal in the DS Advantage. To say the DS sights are well built is a tremendous understatement. There is absolutely ZERO play! And done so without a lockdown knob and the capability to slide out the horizontal scope mount through the bottom. It takes only a few minutes of playing around with the sight bar to see how remarkably well built it is. And here's something many of us can appreciate, MICRO AXIS ADJUSTMENT. There's no loosing a lockdown bolt, shifting axis adjustment manually, then retightening the lockdown bolt. The axis micro adjusts are done via wee set screws. That kind of precision adjustment is tough to find! (cough cough... Sureloc... Tox... just about everyone else including my precious Shibuya Ultima)

In short, these DS sights are ridiculously awesome and well worth the price.

Can't express how much I would like a red and black one for my ProCat Red Cougar III for 3-D. I simply do not have the funds right now, as I have to save for university. The ofer for the pantera is still open, in case you change your mind.

great looking sights, I'm truly impressed with the quality of work here.

    3D Advantage

I just received my new silver DS Advantage 3D sight, WOW!!! It's better than I expected and I expected a lot. This is a fine precision instrument, excellent workmanship, sharp chrisp clicks to adjust, no play in the scope travel. AND it looks Great!!! Thanks Detlef!!!

    Hunter Gp,
Haven't got mine yet . So I really can't help you there . I would assume the same one you use to build them for tox, or shur-loc .
