Didn’t own a v3x but prior to that I don’t believe this existed. It appears they’ve put some type of carbon block in the grip handle maybe to kill felt vibration. Anyone confirm?

Alright so it’s plastic and cokes out. And it’s for a feature that’s coming In 2024 that will also be compatible with the phase 4s. And it’s in all of them from the factory. 29 and 33.

I tried like hell but he wouldn’t bite on telling me what that is that’s coming. I can only assume some kind of adjustable grip. He had a good chuckle when I mentioned that. Exciting and glad to know it will be available for a prior year bow. They don’t usually do that.

I know zero about this bow.
But if I was going to take the time to hollow out a space that big, I would put in a dynamic vibration dampener of some kind. Or maybe a gyro.
Wouldn't that be kewl? A stabilization gyro right in the area where it's needed the most...your hand.

New Bridgelok handwarmer. Scientifically your hand will be up to 5X warmer when the heat is generated directly in the middle of the riser all while not affecting any of the stabilization of the bow since your placing the heating device at the true center. Redefining warmers in square shape that later will slide into your bar mounts if you chose to not take advantage of the square stab mounts your whole riser will stay warm, not just the grip! Amazing deal only $299 per rechargable hand warmer square that has been cut and half and rubber added to dampen and warm. With not so regular rubber I mean this is the future of hunting as long as Chris Bee, Levi & Korbin says so... Maybe I should wait till the actual launch to let the cat out of the bag! Whoops!

I'm not sure it looks like an adjustable grip, although goodness knows why they haven't released one for all Engage equipped bows. Has to be the easiest thing to make and which could allow for exactly the small-scale DL adjustments not possible with 1/2" mods. Side plates lengthen DL by about 1/6", but it would be easy to make a system that offers 1/8 increments and angles like Hoyt. They'd sell a ton for retrofitting and could include it on future bows as standard. C'mon Mathews - do it!

Claim what they may, a temperature variation in any material (riser or otherwise) will affect changes in performance.
Will anyone be able to notice the difference? Probably not.
I would suspect the riser would suck the heat out before it did much good, beyond 3 or 4 hours.
I do recall in high school when at a "party", the first poor sap that "fell asleep" got the hands in warm/cold water treatment. They were lucky if the made it to the head before they wet themselves.
I would hate to be up in a stand with one hand warm and one cold.
If cold is that much of an issue, look up "Thaw" hand warmers. I picked up one for $40. That thing is very warm and lasts for hours.
I'm eager to hear some feedback from actual users in 25° weather.

I don’t think it has anything to do with heat but who knows. I think it’s something adjustable with the grip whether it be for lateral tuning or slight draw length adjustments or just simply different wrist angles

If using a chemical (hot hands) warmer, it will stop working as soon as the grip is installed unless it’s ventilated. This are air activated, and I’ve saved those warmers by putting them back into ziplock bags. I forgot I had them in a baggie and when digging through my hunting tote, I came across them. Opened the bag and they started getting warm again. That was after being in there for 4.5 weeks.
